It has been a slow couple of months news-wise for Carol, as she has been busy juggling her part-time "real jobs", and not had much time to devote to her craft. Until now, that is!
Carol has been cast in a small production at the new Gallery Theater company in West Chicago called "Votes for Women and Nothing Less". This is a historical drama about the fifty year friendship between two women, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony, that eventually led to the passage of an amendment giving women the right to vote. Carol will be playing the part of Lucy Stone.
Performance dates for the show will be March 11th and 12th in West Chicago, but the location is not yet known. Watch this space for details as we get them!

Your performance was as memorable and iconic as that classic Beatles' song; "Lucy's Actress Shined Like Diamonds."
Or something like that.
Unrelated pop music Trivia:
The Beatles covered Chuck Berry's song "Carol" in 1963, followed by many other covers done by artists as famous as Tom Petty.
Although they tried very hard, the creative staff of "Votes For Women And Nothing Less" could not figure out a way to justify working the song into the show, despite Carol's Number One Fan's insistence that it would be perfect to play loudly every time she walked on stage.
